Kristin Bauer van Straten recently sat down with E! Online to discuss her character Pam’s relationship with Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd). The two characters recently broke their formal maker/progeny bond in “We’ll Meet Again” after Pam spent the previous episodes reflecting on how she was turned by her maker. So what will that mean for the characters? Kristin tells writer Christina Dowling that the writers didn’t say much:
“Well basically they just don’t tell us anything. We’re going to have to see and evolve. The nice thing aboutTrue Blood and HBO is they don’t wrap things up, so this will carry over into next year as well. It evolves more like a relationship in life. So we’ll see. Pam is trying to find herself without that umbilical cord.”
So now that Pam is without Eric, will that mean she’ll be a little more nurturing towards Tara? Maybe not:
“You know she’s not the most nurturing. We’ll see glimpses of a softer side…it won’t last long.”
What will last however are the effects that the Authority are having on the vampire world at large. This and trying to figure out what Tara’s (Rutina Wesley) relationship with Pam will be constitute Kristin’s season:
 ”We are now moving into the havoc the Authority is wreaking. A lot of my season has to do with that, and try to find this new way in this new world. And also dealing with this ball and chain called Tara. That I would have preferred to have killed, but now she’s my child.”
As for what it was like having to film a post-cotial love scene with Alexander, Bauer van Straten reveals it was touch scene to pull off but she survived:
“There’s always a hundred takes. I saw his naked ass get out of bed many many times. It’s very strenuous.”
The most common qestion Kristin gets asked is what is SkarsgÃ¥rd really like. Of her co-star and good friend, she says he’s better looking, sweeter, and funnier in person! Aww! Click the image to watch the entire video below:

Christina Dowling from E! Online’s Watch With Kristin has some True Blood season 5 spoilers concerning next week’s episode We’ll Meet Again.  We’re going to find out more about the fairies, whether Tara (Rutina Wesley) is successful in her suicide attempt, Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) will see each other for the first time this season, not in a flashback anyway, and more.
So the fairies are back in town as we saw in last night’s episode. And apparently, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Andy (Chris Bauer) get roped in:
“Yep, fairies are back in town. As if we could be rid of them for long. The fun-loving yet ultimately dangerous supernatural pixies are up to their old tricks again and this time they are roping Jason  and Andy  into the deal. Oh wait, Andy has already had a little tryst with a fairy. So it’s basically the same as last time. New location, same M.O. Hopefully they don’t steal Sookie (Anna Paquin) for a year again.”
Will Tara survive her suicide solution? Judging by Pam’s reaction maybe:
“You’ll find out pretty early in the next episode if Tara is successful in her vampire suicide attempt. Oh Tara, always so dramatic. You either want to be a vampire or you don’t. After her latest sizzling solution, will she accept her bloodthirsty fate or die trying?”
Pam and Eric will see each other for the first time in the present circumstances but it won’t be a happy meeting:
“Pam  and Eric finally reunited. But their reunion isn’t the happy Christmas card we pictured. In fact, their interaction in the next episode has us crying (blood) tears.”
And finally Alcide (Joe Manganiello) will have to make a decision:
“Alcide makes an important decision about Sookie’s lastest homicidal confession. With the Pelts sniffing (get it?) around for answers, will he give up Sookie as their daughter’s killer? Or take the blame himself?”

The ladies over at E! Online’s Watch with Kristin gave some very interesting spoilers about episode 5.03 Whatever I Am You Made Me! Apparently we’re going to learn about many people’s pasts including what caused Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), and Bill (Stephen Moyer) not to like one another.
Apparently they have a history together which we will learn about in this Sunday’s episode:
As you will soon learn Lorena, Bill, and Pam have a very long, sordid and interesting history. Bill and Lorena were out sowing their wild oats when he and Eric clashed before. This fun flashback also explains why Pam isn’t the biggest Bill Compton fan.

With 3 days until the premiere, True Blood season 5 spoilers seem to be flooding out practically! Today is no exception with the ladies from E! Online’s Watch with Kristin giving us some scoop on  Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten). Yesterday in a video interview, Alexander said that Eric loves Pam very much. But as we know Pam almost killed Sookie last year in an attempt to save Eric. So how will she get into her maker’s good graces again?
Elly: Forget about Eric and Sookie and tell me about my favorite pair on True Blood: Eric and Pam! Well, if you paid attention to yesterday’s scoop-filled post, you know that according to Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd, Eric still has plenty of love for Pam. And Kristin Bauer van Straten promises that Pam is on a mission to get back in Eric’s good graces. “Pam will go to any length to be reunited with her maker. Any length,” she tells us forebodingly. “And we’re going to see it. Pam has an amazing arc because we get to see her backstory and how she was made. It explains why Pam is the way she is and also why Eric is her one person that she can’t live without.” We’ve seen the first four episodes of True Blood‘s fifth season, and trust us when we say that Pam will more than likely be your favorite T.B. character this year.

Well Truebies good news it is less then a week away from the season premiere of True Blood on HBO.  And HBO was nice enough to give us some videos for our viewing pleasure.  HBO recognizes that many True Blood viewers were turned on to the show by someone else so they’ve launched the Maker’s Day campaign featuring your favorite vampire Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) thanking her maker which you can watch below. Also included is a Maker’s Day promo that  shows all of our vampires being made including a quick glimpse of Pam and Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) from season 5! Watch!
It’s Sunday Truebies and you know what that means! True Blood Season 5 Waiting Sucks Eric and Pam is the first time we’ve seen the pair together played by Kristin Bauer van Straten and Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd respectively since 4×11 “Soul of Fire.” Back then Eric was furious at Pam for firing a rocket launcher at Moon Goddess endangering Sookie (Anna Paquin). By season’s end, there was a rift between them that hadn’t been resolved. So will they be fighting or mending fences? Find out for yourself and watch the video below:
