Well, I cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner and I am going back to work on True Blood for a fourth season! And am coming up on the two year Anniversary of meeting my husband. I also first discovered IFAW at this time of year in 2008! Three big anniversaries and blessings in my life. This past year I have had the chance to spend much more time with them doing what I can to help them in their fight to save the world’s whales.
From Washington, DC to my husband Abri’s home in South Africa, all the way to Sydney, Australia, I have been with IFAW staff, meeting politicians and getting up close and personal with the magnificent whales that we are trying to save.
I always get reflective at this time of year and looking back can’t believe how close we came to seeing a return to commercial whaling. It makes me even more committed to do everything I can to keep fighting until commercial and scientific whaling is relegated to the history books for once and for all.
You can join us in our fight by taking action or donating to IFAW (www.ifaw.org), and if you love music and need a last minute Christmas gift, Abri will be donating $1 from the sale of every CD of his solo record, “Sunlight and Shadows” to IFAW. There you have it folks, http://true-blood.net has reported the titled for the second episode of 2011′s new season. Season 4 begins JUNE 12, 2011. They have also released the casting call for that episode and Mel thinks there may be a Pam flashback from 1982. Hmm. ;)
First is Callum, a British bartender we’ll meet when we flashback to 1982 London. He bartends in a punk underground nightclub, but who is he serving in this flashback? My bet is on Pam. And could this be the role Kevin Pennington is trying out for?
Underground nightclub? 1982? Pam!? These are variables needed for a PERFECT pink concoction. I’m excited, are you?
In honor of Kristin’s birthday on November 26th, (we’ll actually have a book or project together for next year. Promise.) we would like to ask the fans to donate to one of her favorite causes in support.
