Last week, a casting call for episode 5.04 We’ll Meet Again hit the internet. The episode is slated to start shooting this week in Los Angeles and the call has us here at Kristin Bauer.net wondering just what season 5 may hold for Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort.
Apparently some time during this episode, Pam will be enticing a young fangbanger named Melanie to go with her in order to feed a young vampire according to the description:
[MELANIE] 20s, this female fangbanger goes with Pam to entice a young vampire to feed on her. 2 lines, 1 scene (49).
Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) is the only young vampire we know of on True Blood so far and all of the new vampires we’ve heard of for this season are all older than Pam. So maybe this refers to Jessica or perhaps to someone else?

Pamela Swynford De Beaufort is a snarky fashionista with little patience for humans and she’s also fiercely loyal to her maker Eric (Alexander Skarsgård). So it should come as no surprise that Miss Pam has been named #5 on SFX’s list of the top 50 vampires of 2012. A new entry to SFX’s list, Pam is a fan favorite amongst Trubies and SFX now too:
5. True Blood has come up with many memorable vamps, but none quite as reliably foul-mouthed as Pam. Her dialogue (which we can’t reproduce here for taste reasons) is often the highlight of an episode. Devoted to her maker, Eric, she’s also a bit of a badass… and kinda hot. And unlike Eric or Bill, she’s never going to be won over by Sookie’s charms. She may not be one of the show’s main players, but she’s definitely one of the most fun. And we loved her anti-Sookie rant in the season four finale.
Yesterday Kristin and Abri attended their first event of the new year, the 110th NAMM show! NAMM’s mission is to strengthen the music products industry and promote the pleasures and benefits of making music, and the show is used to discover the latest in musical products and technologies. I’ve uploaded 10 photos from the event!

Kristin Bauer will be heading to Monster Mania Con in March! The Cherry Hill, New Jersey based convention will be held March 9th to the 11, 2012 this year at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
So far the convention only lists Kristin as a confirmed guest. There is no word on whether or not she’ll be doing a panel as well. But she’ll be doing autographs during the con at some point we’re assuming.
A weekend pass will cost $50. Single day and VIP passes are also available. Tickets are available here. But they are not a guarantee of getting an autograph from any of the guests at the convention.
So if you’ll be in the Cherry Hill, NJ area March 9-11, go see Kristin! We guarantee you won’t regret it!
As we True Blood fans anxiously await the True Blood Season 5 premiere, E! Online caught up with Kristin Bauer to get her thoughts on what shooting the new season has been and what it’s like to work with co-star Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman) now that he’s become a movie star.
On season 5, Kristin says that every season she thinks that things couldn’t possibly get any better than what they’ve done for that year. But some how it does:
Every script I get I go, ‘Oh my god, that’s better than I thought it would be.’ And wardrobe fittings, ‘Oh my god, that’s better than I could have imagined,’
But just because season 5 is shaping up to be the best yet, don’t expect Kristin to give any details. E! Online reported that the actress was very tight lipped about giving specifics. She says she has an idea of what’s going to happen but wouldn’t be telling. However, what she did say was that we should expect more fantastic outfits and awesome one-liners:
“We thought last year’s gash in the sundress might be that point and apparently that wasn’t!…It feels like it’s just in kind. We’re just continuing with all the goodness we’ve had before,” Kristin continued about the naughtiness to come. “I don’t know if you can get much worse than gash in a sundress, but we can certainly stay in the ballpark.”
Speaking of the ballpark, True Blood co-star Alexander Skarsgård has been knocking it out of the park lately as far as movies are concerned most recently with Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia and the upcoming films Battleship, What Maisy Knew, and the East. So has Alex changed with all of those movies? Kristin says not at all:
“He’s the same guy…We’re buddies,” she laughed when we wondered whether he’d changed since the beginning of True Blood. “But watch I’ll go watch the movies and then get starstruck all of a sudden.”
Aww! That’s so sweet! What do you think about Kristin’s latest thoughts on True Blood season 5? Tell me in the comments below!

With the Shorty Awards nominating well under way, the Vault gave Kristin the first nomination she needed to be officially in the pool. Together, Shanea and I both lent our voices to the vote and slowly fans are starting to trickle in theirs as well. Kristin is currently nominated in both the actress and activism categories and we’d love to definitely see her win one!
To lend your voice and vote for Kristin head over to http://shortyawards.com/BauervanStraten and choose the category you want to nominate her for and once tweeted your vote automatically counts. Kristin really deserves both categories but she does so much good for others I know I’d love to see her win for activism!
I’ve also just added an additional photo to a shoot that Kristin did last year, which you can now see in the gallery.
